Albert J. Malone | Albert J. "Al" Malone, Jr. was born in 1927 in Riverside, the son of Albert J. and Catherine Malone, Sr. He was raised in Riverside and graduated from Palmyra High School in 1950. As a youth he was a lifeguard at Holiday Lake and Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island and saved more than a few people from drowning. He served in the US Air Force and Air Force National Guard in France and Germany. He was a great dancer and met his wife-to-be at a dance at the Hampton Inn. He married Roseann Monachello; two children. Al worked at Rohm & Haas, CE Glass Industries and Princeton Plasma Physics Lab. Al and Roseann lived on Rivers Edge Ave in Delanco and owned the multi-family Faunce building at 212 Burlington Avenue at Washington Street, where their son is the resident manager.
